I'm not too big of a fan where issue 40 of Deadpool went. Deadpool after numerous attempts of wanting to become an A-class superhero, falls into a depression, after realizing he's an unkillable unwanted failure, decides to off himself only to find out he's an even bigger failure at that. he now wakes up in an institution after being "smashed" by the hulk, makes no mention of the precedents that led him there, granted I will allow for memory lapse due to being "smashed" but the whole jumping off the whole killing his unkillable self to going back to the dark side and become a homicidal maniac. It just kind of annoys me. I just hope instead of the same soap opera of themes you can go somewhere with his character, there's alot to work with for example, Cable & Deadpool awesome and gripping with the development of the story and both their characters.
This round I thought it would do the same but it just doesn't seem like it to me. Take a look at the new Wolverine series there's a redundant story theme that recycled and changed throughout the series but this one WOW it is actually going somewhere is he going to seek some beserkering revenge on an old man who sent his soul to hell who also had good reasons for doing so, or is he somehow going to find redemption even if it means damnation of his soul, gripping.
Please just don't drop the ball and just go chasing around in circles, do something, bring it around, show us that deadpool is every bit the anti-hero we all need.
