Its not about love , or hate. Its about fan commitment, something DC knows nothing about. Real Talk marvel is where its at .

Planning is a plus as well, the current marvel movie universe is a work of art. Iron man , , iron man 2 ,thor , captain america, then the avengers.

All story lines include the same characters tied in together . And its not over

Even if DC decides to do the justice league, its still years away. And they wasted a superman movie thats coming out next year in the process. Because that was already written before the success of the avengers.

Marvel is better at coming through to their fans, and delivering what people want to see.

DC has had two "superhero" movie franchises in the last 10 years: Batman Begins/Dark Knight and Green Lantern. The BB/DK franchise is considered by critics, fans and the box office to be excellent. Unfortunately, this version of Batman is a stand alone type of story. As some have said, its a comicbook movie that's great because it doesn't have a comicbook feel to it. Characters like Superman and Wonder Woman would be completely out of place in this franchise' universe. Again, unfortunately, there are no plans to continue the franchise.

Green Lantern was a flop. Nuff said. There's very little chance of this dud having a sequel.

As I understood it, GL was possibly going to be a setup to a JLA cinematic universe. It looks like that's not going to work, BUT there are plans to reboot Batman again for a tie-in to other DC superhero movies, including Man of Steel, coming out next year.

I had to have an unwanted facebook account or other social medium to ask this question on the DC site....

I have enjoyed every DC superhero movie that has come out. I grew up on Christopher Reeve playing Superman many times, enjoyed the Virtigo movie titles, GL and all the others. I have a 2 part question...

Why does Batman get all the screentime, and why can't DC get the movie franchise following that Marvel/Disney has? I know it's not the characters because I myself find something to love about all heroes regardless of affilliation..
