I definitely would love a new X-Men Animated Series!!  I would want this new series to go into the storylines like Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men, Mutant Massacre, and Age of Apocalypse!

Sorry for Necro'ing this thread but...

Has anyone seen/watched the episodes with the writer's commentary on (you have to get the series dvd)?  It's got to be some of the funniest stuff I've seen in a long time (the wolverine/Hand-ninja clan is especailly hilarious).  Honestly, its the only way I watch that show now, 1000% more entertaining than the original viewing.  Craig Kyle and Chris Yost seriously need to get greenlit on doing a what if/spoof series, you'd die from laugher.

Thanks ! This series recounts their adventures as they struggle to make the world accept them, while battling villains like Magneto, Apocalypse and the genocidal robots known as the Sentinels.

Fox only has the Film rights to X-Men... that does not include Television Shows.  The television rights for X-Men, I believe, either reside with Marvel themselves or if not with the parent company.  That is the reason why Wolverine and several X-Men appeared on Super Hero Squad and Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.  If Fox had held the Television rights to X-Men, Wolverine would not have appeared as such in those shows, nor would the cameos of the X-Men occurred.

The only thing preventing Marvel from a new X-Men animated series is likely airtime, financing, and storyline.

I myself wish they would create a new X-Men Animated series and have in my spare time written three series bibles for potential X-Men shows.  Granted the likelihood of Marvel accepting a bible from a writer that has not worked in television or comics before is slim to nil.  Granted that won't stop me from adding them to my Devart account, or uploading them here once they are compiled, as I plan things with a typewriter.

I really do hope we get a new X-men cartoon soon. I recently watched the X-men Anime from Japan and it was ok, but I want another multi-season cartoon! They need to bring back Wolverine and the X-men. Or they need to reboot the 90's Animated series or at least create another cartoon series like it. Imo, the 90's cartoon was the best. They need to do another one like it, but stick a little closer to the comics.

You might not believe this but I have several ideas for the X-Men.  One of my characters name is Air Gider.

Any chance that when Marvel goes to Comic Con they announce a second season to air on DisneyXD, or just wishful thinking.

I just got done watching the series and I would be extremely sad if it didn't come back. I've watched every X-Men series and this was by far the best. It was so Gritty and I love that. They stop the Pheonix and just elude Apcolypse and then it never comes back. This seires was great. I don't see why it didn't come back. Weren't the ratings good. I would take it was garnering alot of viewers. I can hope it comes back.

that will be one of the happiest news for fans but it never gonna happen. Fox may handle the rights but not the show

I'm glad Marvel now has it's own station (Disney XD) and I really think that was why Wolvie and the X Men was cancelled.

That's why I'm bringing this issue. Now it will be lot easier for marvel to produce a show as they do not need to deal with other TV networks stupid issues (character rights, showtime, profit margin etc) anymore. And the more show we get, the more recent comics story line with new characters will come. For example all the x-men shows were road-killed before Jean Greys departure. Why is that? Think and you find the reason for me dong these.

they should bring back the wolverine and the x-men season 2
