The files were only known to one man. With the Shield created all he would have to do was work in his lab for the next 50 years and America would one day be a country that could tell generation after generation about the richest nation in the world.
The funding for the progam was an extreme imperative. Where did all the money come from. How would it be kept safe until the day when the Shield could be used.
You have to understand...there are secerts in the world then there was this project. To make this simple the money came from your taxes. With a simple vote that you cast on your ballot the decision was made to make this a reality.

It would only occur this one time and the risk would be so great that there would be a chance that it would cause the collapse of the entire world order. The Weapon X program would dare the nation to open it's doors.
Where are all the files today?
Where are all the answers to the lost years spent building the projects?
