Hard to argue against your pick Suelover. The cover is still one of my all time favorites. John Buscema was so talented. Also great was Joltin Joe Sinnot. He was the best Inker in comic book history. Long live the FF.

I know that many feel that issue #51 was the best single issue and still others might claim one of the Galactus-Watcher-Surfer trilogy issues (#48-#50). Personally, I believe that all things considered, issue #116 is the best. The art was fantastic, the issue was double-sized and the storyline of Doom fighting alongside Sue, Ben and Johnny against the Overmind was magnificent!

The Frightful Four have been a great enemy during the run of the FF. A personal favorite story with them was way back in the 70' when they had recruited Thundra, who was out to battle the World's Strongest Male in physical combat. Issue 129-130 were great fun. The Cover by Jim Steranko for 130 is a favorite of mine as well. Capshield.

You are right rcbigal2, about those magical days being gone. But thankfully, there are some good comics still being produced. I have found DareDevil to be really good. I also think Winter Soldier is a just fantastic Comic. Also good was the first issue of Captain America NOW. I really enjoyed it. The guy writing it has a great page at the end of the issue explaining his Love for the character and the direction He plans to take the book. I really enjoyed it. Some people don't care for Romita jr's artwork, but I love it. His run on thor in the late 90' was Awesome. Capshield

You are so right rcbigal2. I traded for this issue with another kid in about 1971. It had already lost its cover, but the first page just hooked Me. Then when I started to leaf through it. I just had to have it. Loved the Rock tunneling Monsters too. The Borers. The Thing later fought with them in issue 183. Those comics from the 60's and into the mid 70's were just magic. Such good memories. Capshield.

Was going through stacks of Fantastic Four's the other day and pulled out Fantastic Four Annual # 6. What a classic. Put out in 1968, featuring the talents of Stan Lee, Jack Kirby, Joe Sinnot and I can't recall the color or letters credits. But what a fun read it was. They don't make them like that anymore. Just Cosmically awesome. First appearance of Annihilus resident baddie of the Negative Zone. It was comics like this one that turned Me into a comic book junkie. This was right at the height of the Lee/Kirby collaborations and they were really cooking at that point. If you have never checked it out, I highly recommend it. Capshield.
