It might be cool but if that's the direction they wanted spidey to go in, they should have just left well enough alone after civil war when spidey was on the run from the law. They rewrote his entire history to get out of that situation so I doubt they'll take that road this time around.

I'm interested with post superior peter will most likely be a fugitive that would be cool. Hunted by S.H.I.E.L.D and fellow superheroes will be cool. I really miss spidey's quips

What if when all this wraps up we find out that Peter Parker just had a mental breakdown after killing Doc Ock in 700 and rather than Ock in Petes body, all this time we've been watching Peter Parker pretending to be Ock?

Then why would Peter/Ock (POck?) think he was Peter Parker before he died?

Maybe that's just part of a misdirection, clever writing to keep people guessing. Maybe Peter had to become someone else to get the job done.

The fact that we don't know how the brain swap mechanics work is kind of the problem with this story. I mean, is this really a full mind swap? Or was it just a memory swap, and that created an Ock personality in Peter? What about Ghost Peter? Was that really Peter? What about the octobot? People say he's in the octobot, but how can he be if it's just a collection of his memories? If there was in fact a full mind swap, and Peter's memories were put back while Otto's were taken out, wouldn't we just be left with Otto thinking he was Peter? Wouldn't we just be stuck with a copy, and not really Peter?

That doesn't bother me though but thats me. When its time for Peter to come back I could imagine it'll all be answered then.

I am sorry but I have to disagree with you that this is Peter, it isn't even close to Peter Parker in my opinion. This is Doc Ock pretending to be Peter!! Glad you like you run.

Well im not denying that :) It is Ock pretending to be Peter but what I ment was that hes doing that within the real Peter Parker ie. the physical, absolutle DNA that is 100% Peter. Thats all i ment. Its an interesting thought though. I wonder what exactly was the way he did it in like, well i don't know how to put it, science regards i suppose. I've read all the issues including 9 and I know it was the Gold bot and all but to implant your mind into someone else and vice versa. Did he implant his memory, did he trick his mind with memories. Kind of makes me think of Metal Gear Solid with Liquid Snake and Ocelot if you've ever played those games :) I dunno, just a thought :P

But yeah I agree Ock is pretending to be Peter but in a 100% Peter Parker but I have a feeling we don't know the exact story about the brain swap mechanics as Peter will have to return some day so who knows. I hope your enjoying the run :)

Hey Scarlet fair enought that is Peter Parkers shell. :)

It will be interesting when Peter returns.

Unfortunately I am not enjoying the run as I don't like this whole concept or current "fake" (in my opinion) version of Spider-man.

I like an Amazing Spider-man that is Peter Parker all the way through! :)

But as I have said in other posts I am trying to give it a chance but it is not winning me over so far.

I guess that makes a little sense.... But I would still like this Superior story to end and get back to the Amazing Spider-Man storyline.

Everyones entitled to their opinion :)
