Did you hear that later this year, there will be a title called Superior Thor, where Loki is going to use a powerful spell to replace himself into the body, mind and soul of Thor? Therefore he technically gains all of his brother's memories and power on top of it. Loki will stop being the child he is now, and develop into the true son of Odin. While thor withers away and dies in Loki's body....did you hear? I CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT ONE.

Then superior Captain America, where red skull goes into steve's body...oh wait, red skull already tried to take over cap's body and mind and failed!

Superior Cyclops, where Magneto is in the body of scott summers. Since cyke is a douche and is acting like a loony about mutants anyways, it won't be a major difference. He might very well be erik as far as we know!

Superior Doc Strange. This one consists of Dormammu taking over strange's body and pretending to be earth's sorceror supreme. He even starts a romance with the night nurse while it's really Dormammu....ewww, how creepy is that?

Superior hulk, where Leader is finally in his old arch foe's body and can finally smash things physically while also being a super genius. Banner dies in the body of leader. Samuel Sterns lives on as the Indestructible Hulk. This is giong to be Mark Waid's ultimate agenda for the series. YEAH.

There might even be a superior deadpool, black panther and ms marvel. I'm going to pitch these incredibly unique and thought provoking ideas to marvel.

Sadly, this title seems like it will do well on sales.  ASM #700 broke sales records and SSM seems to be going the same way.  

I'm pretty sure this will be reversed and Pete will be back within a year but... This is how they choose to celebrate the 50th anni and the 700th issue of the Amazing Spiderman?  A cheap gimmick?  I've been reading Spidey since I was a small child and have see bad and good story arcsc but in the last half decade I've been mostly out of the comic. OMD/BND basically ended the progress that Pete had made over the years and reversed his character back to the early 80's. I felt it was time to give it up for a while. Apparently they do not have older readers like me in mind anymore.

After skimming a bit through the issues over the years I pick up issue 700 in book store (did not buy) and read it..  So Pete loses his fight with Octopus and the victor takes Pete's body while Peter dies in Docs body. The past 50 years of bad crap is just okay because Ock is exposed to Pete's memories? Ock who is a  psychotic murderer is reformed now? And he struts and states that he will be a "Superior" Spider-Man after he pretty much kills the main character of the book after 50 years. As for what's happening with MJ. I want go into what I think on that. That's for later.  I do think that Marvel has jumped the shark this time. Doing this to Captain America and bringing him back so quickly was a bad stunt imo but this is the line's main hero. Pete will be back but I doubt I will be.

Agreed.  I too would have been fine with Kaine, though I would still expect Pete to eventually come back.  Not only is it a bad  idea to have a "reformed" murdering villain take over as, argueably, Marvels greatest hero, but to have him do it in Petes body is just unacceptable.  Even worse, no one is going to mourn Pete, because they don't know he's dead.  For all of the lives he's saved, sacrifices he has made and crap that has been handed to him in his personal life, no one will memorialize him.

Now obviously I know he is going to come back.

Gee I never thought about it like that. I suppose it would have been better if his loved ones found out about it and thrown together a little funeral for him. As for the avengers getting involved, I read about something saying that the Superior Spider-Man will be fired from the team. Maybe he will kill someone and the Avengers will have to step in.

It took me a week and two days just to get this comic, which annoyed me because I pre-ordered it at my comic book shop while everyone else pre-ordered it months ago.Here my review of the comic. I loved the entire story by Dan Slott. This was one of the coolest and most personal battles with Doc Ock and Spidey ever. One of my favorite parts of this comic was when the Superior Spider-man punched off Scorpions jaw. Another favorite part was when spidey went to heaven to see all his loved ones, while Uncle Ben incouraged him to fight Doc Ock. I really liked the ending on how Doc Ock became the new spider-man. Although I thought the REAL Spider-man's death was tragic, I still liked how he died. He went out with a bang!!! I think I would have cared more about SM's death if this had happened years ago when I loved him a lot, but oddly enough I just don't care that much because I know he will be brought back some day. I give it 4.5 stars out of 5.
