However, to me this is moot since you could just throw Rogue and Hope against him to grab his powers and put the beatdown on him 2 on 1.
As far as I know hope can only assume mutants powers so not superman, rogue might not be able to absorbs supes powers she struggles with beings with energy based powers like wonder man supes cells are energy saturated so again might be resistant even if not she as never fully absorbed very powerful opponents powers like juggernaut or magneto so probably the same with supes.
You are right though of course on supes being more resistant to magic.

Depends of if you want to throw the entire universe of marvel and the entire universe of DC, because then you have to consider entities like the Beyonder.
If we are looking at mostly standard characters, I’d give the edge to Marvel. Right now there is a lot of talk about Superman being strong. While that is a factor in a fist fight, it would hardly stop Doc Strange or Scarlet Witch, superman has a weakness to magic, or a decent psychic. However, to me this is moot since you could just throw Rogue and Hope against him to grab his powers and put the beatdown on him 2 on 1. I would also think that you could simply get Rogue to absorb a pile of powers and just be pretty much unstoppable.
From DC I would think that the Green Lantern Corps would pose the biggest challenge to Marvel, and that is simply through sheer force of numbers. However, I think that there is enough variety of powers and abilities to counteract this. Since really, if you could send some guys to get the central battery, I’m thinking the Silver Surfer and maybe some other cosmic types, they’d be neutralized quickly enough.

Marvel would win in a all out battle.. me personally.. I know more Marvel characters than DC. BUT........ DC is better.. better writers, better story telling, better priced and their characters are more realistic. I like that.. DC > Marvel

Cheetah didn't over power Superman, she just bit him. You can't list one down showing, in a Batman book and claim lack of durability. Especially when an extra dimensional space craft wouldn't expand in his brain because they'd be crushed by his blood vessel.
Take the bad with the good. He gets 6.6 sextillion Strength as cannon. Count it. He gets a bloody lip when punch by Batman. Count it. Unlike the Hulk, apparently Superman's Strength stats are not on par with his Endurance. Cheetah broke his skin with her bite, infecting him like anyone else. Wonder Woman kicked him in the face in JL #1? The effect? A bloody lip, just like the bloody lip she gave Green Lantern in the previous pattern. And Wonder Woman can NOT bench press the planet.
Face it, Supes' Endurance is not the same as his Strength.
I think what you mean is his Durability or Dexterity.
Iron Man: But......it is...
Xavier: It would have to be unanimous.

Iron Man: T'Challa...
Panther: I'm telling you now: End this. Walk away from this table and go home.
