I wished that cover was how Romita drew for the entire event. Someone mentioned somewhere Hulk surpassing mjolnirs enchantment if anyone can do it by purely physical means it should only be the Hulk. I would pay the cost for two issues just to relish that and have that on Hulks feats in true 616 fashion. I totally agree with you as well. Hulls power level should NOT be what happened in Mighty Avengers with the fight with Tony Stark and the explosion. Hulk took on the Red Kings biggest bombs and lived and the core exploding and jump into planet sakaars core.
Actually, David Finch did the covers for WWH. Personally, I think he should've drawn the event instead of Romita Jr. Still, I agree and hope Waid ups the power and punishment Hulk is able to withstand. I mean, Savage Hulk fought and withstood everything Supreme Hyperion had in their clash in Avengers #3.

I miss these days when Hulk could take Sentry's hardest blows. No reason why Mark can't take that under consideration. Get your Savage Hulk up to this power level again on the norm. We deserve that atleast as consumers of the indestructible hulk product.

The gamma explosions are awesome and perfect if Hulk is in space or at the moments necessary for Hulk to cut loose truly. Against cosmic threats it's a must, Hulk did it against Onslaught and Hulk can do it against the like of any herald of Galactus. The fact that they claim Zom didn't fight back once Hulk got his first hit in.

You took the words right out of my mouth. People act like if you don't see the hit coming your durability goes down. Hulk gets sucker punched all the time..does that means his durability and power was down? Perfect scans of Zom/Strange trying to get Hulk off of him with magical energy blasts.

WWH was by far my favorite incarnation of Hulk and what I believe us the best depiction and combination of Hulk's characteristics and traits through out his history. The best combination of strength, power, intelligence, battle tactics, and rage. I am not a fan of the whole gamma blasting Worldbreaker thing and think it should never have been written. I would much rather have just had WWH have to ability to get stronger and stronger without ever turning into a gamma bomb.
