This is a bit off topic, but is there a way to get an online only subscription to specific titles? I have the yearly subscription that let's you read the back catalog that's available but I'm talking about the current releases. I know if I have to remember to look them up every month I'm going to end up forgetting and I don't really need the physical paper version, but I haven't been able to find anything where they mention if you can get an online subscription to specific titles or if you just have to go and buy them each time they are released?

    Thanks in advance.

I have had a digital sub since 2010. It is for back catalog only.

Maybe in 2013 Marvel will release a separate MDSU app for thos people who do have a digital sub and then they wont have to buy back catalog issues just to read them on their Droid or iPhone?

I know following Brubaker was going to be tough so I guess he decided not to try and match him with that secret agent, spy theme but instead with more of a sci fi thing and I agree that spy thing suits Cap better but Remender gets the character right and the spirit of Cap maybe he should have a go at the spy theme?

I know this is only two issues in, but so far I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in the new Cap series. Cap is my fav character and Brubaker brought the title to heights in which I absolutely fell in love with the character even more. Not to mention the art for the past few years has been exemplary. Again, only two issues, but the story is already a huge disappointment and the art is childish at best. I'm not usually one to be over critical of someones work, but thats how upset I am.

I thought it was a very solid issue. I have never had a problem with Romita Jr and I love Remender most always.

It was nice to see an origin story with Steve Rogers and his inspiration to never give in..his mother. Cliche! yeah, but I dig it. The other things I liked about this so far is the deep and legitimate ( as in not hinting and avoiding it altogether) is the relationship between Sharon and Steve... She wants marriage to Steve, while accepting the Cap, and he is actually pondering it. Also I liked how they incorporate his age as into the story with his birthday. Sure he is from WW2 and infused with the Super Soldier Serum bit he IS actually 90 years old so I thought that was cool.

From the part where his hands become auto cuffed to the last page, I thought the story was really exciting. I love the dynamics and the attitides of the villains. I think they were incorporated quite nicely. They have a feel to them not usually in Cap. Dimension Z is is am extremely well drawn and designed location..love it.

My Captain America reading only really began since Civil War so I am not too knowledgable about all his rogues gallery but this Arnim Zola is a very fun and interesting fellow. Looks like Man-E-Faces from He-Man. I wonder is Zola purposely told his daughter Cap killed her baby brother to set up future conflict or if he genuinely thought he did.

I loved how Cap had actually saved the little baby in his shield..at the time I did not see it coming. Really reminded me of Cable and Hope.

    Great issue #1.

I was very intrigued by this but I am holding my self to 16 titles so in the end it just did not make the cut. Maybe if one of the 16 failes me I might pick this up.

Not happy about the art, but I still might give this a try. I like Remender's writing style enough to put up with sub-par art. His stories may get a bit dull in the middle, but when they get to one of their high points they are amazing. If the art isn't getting to the pont where it is just dreadful, I'll probably get this.

I am definitely a GO for this title as I #1 Currently subscribe to both CAP AM titles and enjoy them, and him and #2 am a fan of Remender's work... I totally see why people have an issue with Romita Jr's work as it does look a little childish at times but from what I see in the preview I think it is quite detailed and it works here...I guess I will see if it works beyond one issue or not, but it looks alright to me.

Remender's fine.  He's like a grade B Hickman (long range plans like Hickman, execution is pretty good instead of great).  I would buy this with him writing it, but...

The artist doesn't meet my needs.

So I'll be letting go of Cap at the relaunch.

(I also can't shake the feeling that Remender's going to mess up the Steve/Sharon relationship and I like that relationship - but that's not why I'm cancelling)
