The fact that he doesn't want to be there is a great dynamic.

Blaze was in the Champions I think.  Dan Ketch was in the Midnight Sons, a team book called Spirits of Vengeance with JB.

Dan Ketch deserves to be in a team book, he's been a good team player in the past.

Yeah yeah he was on fantastic four but in a new era of writing they can do so much more in a team setting.

For Blaze to be on a team it would require a change in his attitude. Ketch may be a different story but Blaze has always been against the other heroes because he critisizes them about not knowing the true meaning of sacrifice or something like that..Long story short he just doesn't like being around others. He's that guy that'd be found in the bar drinking alone moping about how his life sucks over wanting to be on a team lol

its gonna be pretty hard to infultrate an A.I.M base if one of your key members is blazing a fat harley all the time and im pretty sure the defenders have it covered

A underworld Avengers would be nice. Avengers dealing with the occult and mystical threats.

    1. Ghost Rider
    2. Thor
    3. Strange
    4. Magik
    5. Shaman(Alpha Flight)

I like that idea, underworld Avengers.  GR, but needs other people from outside marvel knights.

    And someone for comedic relief.

The fact that Marvel is trying something radically different with long term established loner Frank Castle and placing him on Thunderbolts indicates Ghost Rider could use an attempt at that route.

I don't fully disagree that NightStalkers is the only or best fit for a team book for GR.

If Marvel ever could relaunch Champions(I know the copyright issues) a new spin on that collection of street level heroes could be done. GR has shown to be an accessible member of iterations of Heroes for Hire.

I think Marvel should create their version of Justice League Dark for which Ghost Rider would be a good fit.

My line up: The Underworld Avengers

    Daimon Hellstrom(Son of Satan)

    Satana

    Ghost Rider

    Brother Voodoo

The only team he truly belongs in, is the Midnight Sons.    They should bring this comic back, make the new Caretaker the lead.

    The team should be:

    Ghost Riders: Danny and Johnny

    Blade

    Dr. Strange

    Werewolf by Night

    Morbius

...um haven't the recent 2005 up runs been set in the MU anyway? his book hasn't been a Knights or MAX book...mores the pity as thats probably where it should be (unless we get another abomination like 2001s Hammer Lane).

I think now, after the dismal Rob Williams run (what a disappointment that turned out to be, as sign posted by the most apologetic afterword ever in comics, which basically seems to be saying 'sorry for screwing this up'), MArvel should just give it a rest with Ghost Rider.

Unless they have someone there who, like Howard Mackie or Ivan Velez, has some enthusiasm for the character then there's no point contemplating another relaunch.

Bah. It shouldn't be so bloody difficuly really should it? Human suffers dreadful personal loss, comes into contact with supernatural force, metes out flaming vengeance.

...as to this thread, the Ketch GR worked well with the Midnight Sons, but they weren't a team as such. He's never struck me as much of a team player, so don't feel the need to start now.
