in the issue where she dies its shown that she is starting to feel the effects of the clone degeneration, like what kaine had though not to the same extreme yet

I was a little sad to find out that the Gwen Stacy Clone died recently in the Spider-Island Deadly Foes one shot. I guess with the deaths of characters like Bucky Cap (oh... he didn't?) and Thor (again... so soon?), the death of the Gwen Stacy Clone didn't get a whole lot of visibility.
Anyway... while surfing the internet to find out how she died, I found this really well done blog on the convoluted history of the Gwen Clone.
