I am a massive nova (Richard rider ) fan he has been around since the 70s. Hopefully this is a blip in the Richard rider story like Richard Grayson as batman or Ben Reilly as spider man and eventually the real nova will be back. I am not a fan though of the whole lack of continuity in the history so far though do writers read the history of the character they are writing any more.

I'd like Richard better than Sam but I think they both should be in the new book.

This Nova costume is so fresh, it's based on something that hasn't even been revealed yet... au.gamespot.com/special_feature/marvelca...
Hmm, maybe Nova's permanent costume change? Obviously, this would've been the one seen in the Point One issue. Didn't think that he needed any sort of an update.
I sure hope not! The costume he has as Nova Prime is Awesome! I was looking at that pic in my UMvC3 guide and was like huh? LOL
"I am power incarnate, puny god! With a mere thought, Galactus can strip the flesh from your bones!"
"You fail to understand. I am a primal force in the Universe, the end that comes to all eventually."
"Of all the creatures in the vastness of the Universe, there is none like me. I was present at the birth of the Universe, and I shall be there at it's end."

I hear the point one issue wasn't good. Just a issue purely for sales which had no true purpose.
Also, I do blame thanos imperative for ruining the cosmic line abruptly by ending both Nova and guardians while killing nova and starlord. Thanks thanos. I was one of those who wasn't a fan at all of the whole cancerverse plotline and the lord marvell character.
judging by the way sales were going, it was either go out with a bang that ties up a few loose ends, or get cancelled with none of the loose ends being tied up
Even though, Thanos imperative just killed off nova, star lord, drax and even magus for shock value rather than putting them through honest development in their stories. Many loose ends stil remain; Darkhawk's fate at the end of Nova (last issue), the super nova whom I now forgot his name and the shi'ar centurion who was part of Rider's nova corps that WM gathered, Super Skrull Kl'rt- where did he go? Even in Annihilators right now, I hear magus has returned in child form or something, but what about adam warlock who was ungraciously used by the end of GotG.
