The OMD/BND Spiderman arc and issue 700. The way Thor is portrayed in a lot of books recently.

Doc Oc becoming the new Spider-man and generally speaking the "death" of any beloved character. There's enough death and loss in the world and I read comics to escape that.

The Illuminati issue about the Beyonder being a mutant inhuman!! What the hell was that and how does that even make the slightest bit of sense? Beyonder who created battleworld, whom was the driving force behind the whole Secret Wars classic event was an inhuman mutant? Sure there, Bendis! Good job. This man needs to be fired. He has no respect for continuity.
How does Beyonder being a Inhuman mutant affect Secret Wars at all? All it does is add background, perhaps unneeded background, but it certainly doesn't change continuity.
except wasn't the beyonder supposed to be a cosmic cube at one point?
I didn't think he was a cosmic cube, just cosmic cube level power.
From http://marvel.com/universe/Beyonder "When Owen Reece accessed one of these energy packets via an electromagnetic accident, part of the energy mutated him into the powerful Molecule Man. The remaining energy gradually gained intelligence and became the Beyonder, who studied life by transporting a number of superhumans to his creation Battleworld and later by traveling to Earth and interacting directly with its residents. The Beyonder remained unfulfilled and eventually faked his death, creating a new realm over which he acted as a god. Eventually, however, the Shaper and Kubik revealed the truth to the Beyonder about his incompleteness, and he willingly merged with Reece to become a new, complete Cosmic Cube."

Any comic with a story that allows this picture is just bad. Also red hulk punching out watcher and grandmaster, then issues later getting stabbed in the chest by punisher. The major major inconsistencies in writing are really just laughable.

It affects secret wars by adding in unneeded background, as you just admitted. Beyonder was supposed to be the power of a cosmic cube personified. Bendis changed that around and turned him into something completely illogical. Just say the words out loud to yourself, that the beyonder is an inhuman mutant and tell me if this sounds logical whatsoever? If you read Secret Wars, then you know that beyonder cannot be some inhuman being who was mutated! It just doesn't make the slightest bit of sense!
So the argument against it is that a mutant inhuman couldn't be that powerful? Scarlet Witch is just a mutant and yet could change reality. I don't see how the added background changes things at all, he's still a very powerful being who decided to make heroes and villains fight each other.
