Anything that doesn't center around Wolverine (who was in MC2 if Marvel didn't notice) goes on the chopping block when Marvel gets bored. After all, for the past few decades Marvel's formula for success has been "put Wolvie in it!"

When you say Marvel, generally you are talking about the editors and EIC. They care about the fans more than a lot of people give them credit for. They are not the reason why SPIDER-GIRL was canceled. The thing that saved SPIDER-GIRL was the energy the fans put behind the title/character with their campaign. It helped save it from cancellation a few times. However, eventually what the fans were doing just wasn't adding up as Quesada had hoped. In the end, it wasn't making the company the amount of money they had hoped and Marketing canceled it, not Quesada or other editors. You have to remember, when news broke out of it being canceled, Quesada was on vacation. He returned to find out the news, which he told fans to not worry because it wasn't canceled. A few days later, he returned with the bad news that it was indeed canceled. This alone shows that Quesada, even though he was the EIC, had bosses that are in charge of Marvel (the company) whom he has to listen to. Quesada would love to continue publishing SPIDER-GIRL, he even worked it out so the character could appear in other comics, but in the end, the money didn't add up.

The reason why Marvel uses Wolverine, variant covers of Deadpool, has numerous Deadpool titles, Avengers titles, X-Men titles, and other things is because they sell. They are the things that sell enough for Marvel to make less popular titles.

    Have a Nice Day!

I am not rolling with it, I am not buying anymore DC or Marvel comics, let them loose my money they do not seem to care anyway. No use trying to make em see our way they want to see there way then they can, I will just not spend money on them.

I'm not sure what I'd write to them anyway and when you write stuff to a large company usually the more people also saying what you want to say, the better. Yes, one or two or a hundred letters by people wouldn't make that much of a difference. Thousands might. Eh, my fight is not with you. Or them. Or anybody now that I think on it. However, I've never written to a comic book team before... so I might want to try giving that a shot one of these days.

While we can't control thousands of people, it is often the vocal minority who is heard. Thus, there are at least 2 buyers (counting myself) who aren't supporting the fake spider-girl. It seems to me that anyone who wants more Mayday but still buys the fake books is rolling with it, and actually encouraging Marvel to not produce any more Mayday. That's what so many people don't understand... Let your voice be heard, but if you want Mayday not Arana, don't buy the Arana book. If a few thousand loyal mayday fans did this, Marvel might notice. However, it seems that many of the same people who are saying they want Mayday back are buying the fake spider-girl books. This is actually their way of saying that they'll say anything on these boards to go with the majority of posters, but don't really care about Mayday, Marvel, or quality comics in general.

You can't agree with everyone. And there's an old saying, "Put your money where your mouth is". Thus, I refuse to buy the fake spider-girl books. And anyone else who hopes to ever see new stories with Mayday, Wild Thing, J2, the X-People, and any of the other MC2 characters, needs to stop buying the fake spider-girl books immediately. Money is the only thing that Marvel seems to understand, and if the money doesn't talk, Mayday will walk - forever - never to be seen again.

Unfortunately (well, for some), comic characters will never truely grow. As in, they will not grow old and die. If you want to see characters grow and die/have their story end...then you should check out Manga. But, that isn't everyones taste.
