This is the story Marvel wants to tell with Jean at the moment. They are re-introducing her this way to new fans. Hopefully while he's still on the book or when he leaves Bendis will bring adult Jean back. Because what would be the whole point of all of this if young Jean just goes back to her time after so much developement or adult Jean doesn't return after all of this.

though i'm not the biggest Jean fan, i have to say, if we're going to have one, PLEASE let it be the real one... not this churlish child version we're stuck with now. Would be great to see her get psi-spanked by Emma in the near future (as Emma's powers return of course). Right now, like Rachel, young Jean isn't in Emma's league as a telepath.

As Jean is underage I don't know how far they can go. There can still be drama but I hope Bendis doesn't take it to molester-ish territory
Yeah, but there can still be conflicts. Emma could still resent her for Scott. Plus, Emma is a telepath and Jean is a telepath. How much do you think it would rile Kitty up if Jean took direction from Emma. Juicy!

The Jean Grey School is getting her name out there. Famke also appears as Jean in the new Wolverine movie clip.

Jean, Emma, Wolverine, Cyclops drama. They got try and draw in a few more characters. Really blow it up. Think about some of the compilcated relationships....Gambit, Rogue, Magneto... Colossus, Kitty, Magik... I'm kind of hoping they cross the streams in some fashion. Pull in Psylock. Who else?

2013 has lots of Jean stuff coming. She's in books again (upcoming ANXM, WATXM, Uncanny and GOTG) and Marvel Heroes is about to come out. They have her green and dark phoenix look. They also have her Black Queen, Marvel Girl mini skirt and her O5 Marvel Now look.

Emma does hold grudges and argue with underage kids. If they want to amp up the drama and tension they should have brought in adult Jean. It's just be like Wolverine yelling and trying to control teen Scott.
