Earlier this week I had three rad dudes from the band Mayday Parade up at Marvel.com. They got a crash course in comic book editing from Bill Rosemann, hammed it up with Steve Wacker and talked Deadpool with Nick Lowe and Jordan White. Fun for all!
The folks at Sony have done some cool viral stuff for July’s upcoming "Amazing Spider-Man" film. I was able to get my hands on Peter Parker’s backpack and decided to film myself and Watcher host Lorraine Cink going through the bag. Enjoy!
The assortment of toys, action figures, swag and collectibles for Marvel's The Avengers arriving in the coming months is pretty fantastic.
Hasbro, specifically, has loads of awesome stuff on the way. In particular, I'm EXTREMELY psyched that Marvel and Hasbro are releasing a Helicarrier.
Even cooler for me? I get to give you the world premiere, first look, at it:
I'm going to Toy Fair NY next week with a big team of Marvelites. We're shooting video and taking photos of everything at the show, including all the mighty Avengers stuff. Look for all of that next week on Marvel.com, @Marvel on Twitter and facebook.com/marvel.
And if you missed them a few weeks back, check out more photos of Hasbro's Avengers toys:
The March issue of U.K. film magazine Empire assembles with not only a big feature on "Marvel's The Avengers," but you can also choose from FOUR different covers, each featuring a different hero! Check out each of the covers below and look for more "Avengers" photos and info reeeaaalll soon on Marvel.com.
Which of the covers is your favorite? I'm torn between Iron Man and Black Widow.
Happy New Year! Well...I may be two weeks late, but I've been on vacation for a bit. But I'm back in action and here's my first post of 2012. I turned on my Xbox 360 this weekend and saw Marvel gracing the main screen. Clicking in, I saw that the fine folks at Microsoft had hooked up an "all things Marvel" room.
Have you picked up any of the gamer pics, avatar gear or the new theme? Let me and @MarvelBlip on Twitter know what else you want to see on your 360!
A few weeks back, the dudes from New Found Glory visited me here at Marvel HQ to shoot some video, steal some comics and generally goof off. Which is fine with me. They're pals and I like seeing them when I can. I'm actually heading out to see them tonight in NYC on their big Pop Punk's Not Dead tour.
Anyway, check out the photos that Judy Stephens took of NFG with me, Marvel Comics Editor in Chief Axel Alonso, editor Jordan White and Social Media Coordinator Janna O'Shea:
"Captain America: The First Avenger" is on Blu-ray, DVD & digital download today! With that in mind, check out the first full image of Cap in our upcoming MMO:
At Marvel's video game panel during New York Comic Con, we announced that Cable would be playable in our upcoming Marvel Universe MMO. Check out the first images of my favorite super hero in the game:
Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada posted this on Twitter today, just after he got the final, colored version from Richard Isanove. I love it. Enjoy:
