And it took about 8 minutes for a Marvelite, @RavenCrow on Twitter, to discover that Wolverine did not, in fact, die in 2010! He died in 2013. The real page, from UNCANNY X-MEN #142 below:

According to Chris Claremont & John Byrne's epic 1981 two-part story "Days of Future Past,"  today--July 6, 2010--is the day Wolverine died (dies?).

If you've never read this story, you've been missing out. It's bleak and crazy and fantastic. And, would ya look at that, both issues are available on Marvel Digital Comics Unlimited! Read UNCANNY X-MEN #141 "Days of Future Past" and UNCANNY X-MEN #142 "Mind Out of Time" right now!

Due to the coloring, we can't be sure if his bones are made of Adamantium or just his claws.

this was a great story BUT that wouldnt of killed wolverine! couse in a different storyline titled wolverine, wolverine was hit with a bomb and blown apart however he healed! and survived

Its lame how powerful they've made him. Surviving an atomic bomb? What a joke. This is why i stopped collecting marvel comics. I'll only buy good graphic novels from them or collected sagas like AOA or Onslaught. Oh and the marvel select action figures are awesome.
